This site is an electronic sand painting. While it is fun to play with, I haven't become an expert at it. Have fun, it is mezmerizing.
Radial Symmetry
This site allows anyone to play with symmetry and symmetrical designs. It also incorporates radial symmetry as well, which is a project the 4th graders will work on in the spring! Yes, it does say "Maths is fun". They obviously don't think "Englishs is fun".
Mobiles
This site is a mobile maker, inspired by Alexander Calder. 3rd graders will have the opportunity to play with this site and engineer a virtual mobile of their own before constructing the real thing.
Jackson Pollock
Here is the non-messy version of Jackson Pollock painting. And yes, I have done the messy version with 4th graders . . . I also have chosen not to do the messy version with 4th graders. It all depends.
Picasso Head
Mr. Picasso Head is a must for any virtual artist!!
Mr. Potato Head: Look, I'm Picasso!
Hamm: I don't get it.
Mr. Potato Head: You uncultured swine!

Chinese Name Translator
This site is a Chinese name translation site. There are LOTS of names on it, and in the rare case a student's name is not on it, there is often a similar name either by spelling or sound. This is fun during Chinese New Year time and is usually a 2nd grade project.
